Rajinikanth’s official Japanese fan page shared on X about Jailer's release in Japan. Jailer will be released in multiple theatres across the country on February 21.

Rajinikanth has a huge fanbase in Japan. Jailer is not his first movie to be released in the country. Earlier, the actor’s 1995 film Muthu, released in Japan in 1998. It was reportedly released on 50 screens across the country at the time.

Jailer is a Tamil language film,plus777 apk that reportedly  grossed over Rs 650 crore worldwide. Apart from Rajinikanth, the action drama also starred Mohanlal, Vinayakan, Shiva Rajkumar, Yogi Babu, Ramya Krishnan and Vasanth Ravi, among others in significant roles.

It has been written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Kalanithi N. Maran under the Sun Pictures banner.
